अजमेर विद्युत वितरण निगम लिमिटेड, (AJMER DISCOM) की स्थापना कंपनी अधिनियम, 1956 के तहत सरकार द्वारा की गई है। राजस्थान का। अजमेर डिस्कॉम को राजस्थान के 11 जिलों, अर्थात् अजमेर, भीलवाड़ा, नागौर, सीकर, झुंझुनू, उदयपुर, बांसवाड़ा, चित्तौड़गढ़, राजसमंद, डूंगरपुर और प्रतापगढ़ में बिजली के वितरण और आपूर्ति के व्यवसाय में संलग्न करने के प्रमुख उद्देश्य के साथ बनाया गया है। अजमेर डिस्कॉम के संचालन का क्षेत्र 87256 वर्ग किमी है। और इस क्षेत्र में जनसंख्या 2001 की जनगणना के अनुसार 198 लाख है। अजमेर डिस्कॉम में बिजली की आपूर्ति 12 वितरण मंडल अर्थात अजमेर शहर, अजमेर जिला, भीलवाड़ा, नागौर, सीकर, झुंझुनू, उदयपुर, बांसवाड़ा, चित्तौड़गढ़, राजसमंद द्वारा प्रबंधित की जाती है। , डूंगरपुर और प्रतापगढ़ ।

Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, (AJMER DISCOM) has been established under the Companies Act,1956 by Govt. of Rajasthan. The Ajmer Discom has been created with the principal object of engaging in the business of distribution and supply of electricity in 11 districts of Rajasthan, namely Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh. The area of operation of Ajmer Discom is 87256 sq. km. And the population in this area is 198 lacs as per 2001 census. The power supply in the Ajmer Discom is managed by 12 distribution circles i.e. Ajmer City, Ajmer District, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh.
